by Brent Schlenker The two hottest trends in learning are the use of new Web 2.0 technologies such as Blogs, Wikis, Social Networks, and other collaborative tools, and the explosion of Immersive Learning Simulations (ILS) and Serious Games in learning. These technologies offer learning professionals great promise for achieving new levels of learner engagement, collaboration and consequent organizational performance improvement - especially when your learner population is largely early-adopters of new technologies and/or millennials. But putting these technologies to work in organizations successfully presents new, and potentially difficult, challenges.

Now you have the opportunity to learn about these important topics in two intense summer seminars:

Collaborative Learning: Blogs, Podcasts, RSS, Social Networks, Wikis, and more… on August 11-12

AND/OR

Immersive Learning Simulations: Serious Games, Second Life, Simulations, and more… On August 13-14.

You should attend these seminars if:

You have been curious but have not had the time to learn about emerging and collaborative technologies
Your management or organization has asked you to set a plan for using ILS or serious games for learning
You are looking for more engaging and effective ways to create training
You are struggling with designing training that appeals to different ages of learners
You have a dispersed workforce or a workforce that needs collaborative learning options
Your organization is not ready to implement these new approaches …but you are!
You need to supplement or replace current classroom or traditionally designed e-Learning programs.
You want to add collaborative or other interactive learning options into your blended learning mix.
Taught by four of our industry’s best known experts on these topics (see below), these two seminars will give you the theory AND the practical knowledge to understand the potentials and pit-falls, comprehend the challenges, see the opportunities, set a strategy, and apply successful solutions to the use of these technologies in your organization.</description>
